TranslationalAI is a browser-based clinical AI suite built by a Canadian physician to reduce documentation burden and improve care.

Our flagship tool, ChartPrepper, helps doctors and admin teams generate clean, structured referral summaries in seconds—with consistent, low-hallucination outputs. We also offer LightScribe, an AI-powered medical scribe, and Partner in Practice, a structured decision support tool for common clinical presentations.

All tools are HIPAA- and PIPEDA-aligned, require no EMR integration, and are already in daily use by clinicians.

Founder

Hanmu Yan, MD FRCSC– Physician & Founder

Hanmu is a practicing Canadian urologist and the creator of TranslationalAI. He designs and builds the platform himself—using AI-assisted development tools to speed up coding while shaping every layer of the system, from clinical logic to infrastructure.

With a background in surgery and applied AI, he builds with a clear goal: to solve real problems doctors face every day. The TranslationalAI suite—ChartPrepper, LightScribe, and Partner in Practice—was created from the ground up with clinical precision, simplicity, and empathy for how medicine actually works.
